The project and implimentation outlines the strategy adopted for developing a fire fighting robot with wireless control. The robot sent to the fire place gathers information from the site. Lab VIEW is used as interface between it and human beings. Robot has the following functional units: a camera to capture the happening events; sensors to gather temperature data and an LDR to detect the source of fire. A microcontroller interfaced with ZigBee transceiver enables the wireless control of the robot .Suitable mechanical assemblies accomplish the task of the robot. This small and light weight robot can be easily carried to places such as tunnels, nuclear reactors, process Industries etc.
