Generalised synchronisation in laser devices
with electro-optical feedback
partial and global generalised synchronisation is presented in this article in the case of bi-directionally coupled non-identical chaotic systems with multiple time delays. First a generalized approach is taken and then it is applied to multiple time-delay laser systems with electro-optical feedback. the effect of signal sampling on the signatures of time delays is also studied.
many disciplines of science deals with the synchronisation of systems of coupled oscillators. The example is a chaos-based secure communication scheme where synchronisation is essential for message decoding. delay differential equations is increasingly becoming popular in the field of non-linear dynamics. Here , message decoding would require chaos synchronization.
bi-directionally coupled time-delay systems have been studied previously. The time lag between the dynamics of the two lasers has also been well defined. But until now partial and global generalized synchronization in time-delayed systems have not been studied in detail. This article attempts to do this.
